With the establishment of its subsidiary OHB Logistic Solutions GmbH, the OHB Group is expanding its activities in the area of logistic products and services.
Jens Kuckertz and Saad Buresli have been appointed managing directors of the new company.
“With our Mobilbox and the related added-value services, we have already gained considerable favorable experience with first-time adopters. Our integrated solution is primarily targeted at forwarders, shipping companies and industrial customers,” explains managing director Jens Kuckertz.
A proprietary OHB development, the Mobilbox permits global real-time tracking of ocean-going containers.
“With OHB Logistic Solutions, the OHB Group is well positioned to benefit from the growing “Industry 4.0” market,” says Ulrich Schulz, a member of OHB SE’s Management Board.
OHB Logistic Solutions is particularly concentrating on the commercialization of the Mobilbox and related value-added services for optimizing global logistic processes.
