OHB at the Paris Air Show 2017

The AEROSPACE FAMILY presenting its range of goods and services

Bremen, June 8, 2017. Once again, listed technology group OHB SE (Prime Standard, ISIN: DE0005936124) will be an exhibitor at this year’s Paris Air Show alongside its European subsidiaries. Represented by its two business units – Space Systems and Aerospace + Industrial Products – the group will be displaying its range of products and services.

The 52nd Paris Air Show is taking place at Le Bourget air field on June 19 - 25, 2017. OHB SE will be exhibiting on a stand with an area of 260 square meters (No. C318) at the joint German stand in Hall 2C.

“We are the AEROSPACE FAMILY” in two different senses: For one thing, we maintain close family links with our subsidiaries that offer top-level space solutions throughout Europe. For another, we are a family-managed company, meaning that we can frequently respond more flexibly and swiftly than our peers. It is with this in mind that we are inviting our customers and business partners as well as media representatives to meet with us in a family spirit at this year’s Paris Air Show again,” says Dr. Fritz Merkle, a member of the Management Board and Chief Marketing Officer at OHB SE. “Needless to say, we will also be providing information highlighting the fascination of space and the group’s range of goods and services during the days on which the Paris Air Show is open to the general public.”

A diverse range will be on display at the Paris Air Show imparting a comprehensive impression of the OHB Group’s range such as models of the Galileo FOC satellite, the full gamut of scientific and earth observation missions as well as the “shooting star” of 2017, a model of the SmallGEO satellite series. This will of course be supplemented with exciting topics from the Aerospace and Industrial Products business unit. After all, there is a good reason why MT Aerospace AG is the largest German supplier to the Ariane program. Under the motto “What's new @OHB?”, interesting information on OHB Venture Capital GmbH’s latest investments will also be available.

OHB SE can look back on a history spanning 35 years.

The Space Systems business unit focuses on developing and executing space projects. These particularly include low-orbiting and geostationary satellites for navigation, scientific research, communications and earth observation as well as scientific payloads. Its manned space flight activities chiefly are primarily targeted at the outfitting and operation of the International Space Station ISS. The exploration segment works on exploring our solar system, primarily the moon and Mars. In addition, efficient reconnaissance satellites and broadband wireless transmission of image data form core technologies for security and reconnaissance.

The Aerospace + Industrial Products business unit is chiefly responsible for assembling aviation and space products as well as telematics. In this area, OHB SE has established itself as a leading supplier of aerospace structures for the space industry in particular.

Media representatives are asked to submit requests for interviews or background talks with representatives of the OHB Group as well as filming at the stand before the commencement of the Paris Air Show as far as possible. As both sides benefit from careful planning, we would ask you to contact julia.riedl@ohb.de, stating the subject matter/company you are interested in, the days of the fair that you wish or are able to attend as well as your full name, organization and, where applicable, your mobile number so that a time and date can be arranged at the show.
