Bremen, December 21, 2021. The Supervisory Board of space and technology group OHB SE has appointed Daniela Schmidt to the Management Board with effect from January 1, 2022. The 39 year old lawyer will be responsible for sustainability, integrity, legal affairs and corporate security. One of the focal points of her activities will be to ensure that the Company's commitment to sustainable corporate governance in line with the principles of environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) is future-proof and to pool the management of the measures required for this purpose in a single Management Board department with Group-wide responsibility.

Daniela Schmidt has been employed at OHB SE as Legal Counsel and in-house lawyer since September 2014, and in March 2018 she was additionally appointed Deputy Head of the Legal Department. Previously, Ms. Schmidt was employed as a lawyer at the law firms Jones Day in Frankfurt (2013-2014) and White & Case LLP in Frankfurt (2011-2013).
After training as a bank clerk at Kasseler Sparkasse (2001-2003), she studied law with a focus on labor and corporate law at the University of Göttingen from 2003 to 2009; she completed her legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Braunschweig, graduating with the 2nd State Law Examination in 2011. In January 2019, Ms. Schmidt was appointed as a specialist lawyer for international corporate law by the Hanseatic Bar Association. Daniela Schmidt lives in Bremen with her husband and two children.
