Paris / Bremen, 19 June 2023 - Together with its subsidiaries, OHB SE is showcasing at the 54th International Paris Air Show from June 19 to 25. It is the world's most important trade show of its kind - and when the aerospace community is going to meet for a week outside Paris at Le Bourget Airport, it will be a great feast for all aerospace fans.
With an elegantly designed exhibition booth combining innovative strength and a high level of expertise in Earth observation, navigation, telecommunications and exploration as well as presenting a range of space-based digital products, the group is inviting visitors to experience the OHB cosmos. The satellite models "flying" above the OHB booth are an eye-catcher and exemplify how the space company utilises space to find answers to the complex questions of our time. One example is the CO2M mission, whose satellites are able to distinguish whether carbon dioxide emissions come from natural sources or are man-made. An important contribution in the fight against climate change for the sake of our planet.
Europe's independent access to space will continue to be a focus topic in Paris. Reliable rockets and well-located launch sites are essential for space flight and thus OHB's participation in the European Ariane programme will be discussed at the OHB booth as well as flexible launch sites like the one of the German Offshore Spaceport Alliance (GOSA). Trend-setting: the microlauncher of the Rocket Factory Augsburg - to be seen as a large model at the Paris Air Show.
We are very much looking forward to exchanging ideas with customers and partners and, above all, with all space enthusiasts and young talents who are expected to attend the three "public days" at the trade fair.
